recently we have had a heated discussion on whether people should keep pets at home in cities.
some students think it"s a good idea to keep pets because many old people who live alone at home can get some comforts from pets. besides , getting along well with animals will make our life interesting. on the contrary the other students are against the idea. in their opinion if too many people keep pets at home, it"s bad for the environment. what is worse, pets may make too much noise and even attack people.
i like animals, so i don"t think it"s bad to keep pets at home. but we must take some measures to prevent them from polluting our environment.
today more and more people keep animals for pets, like dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and so on. some people think that animals often make rooms dirty and smelly. even though keeping a pet takes time and costs money. i think pets will bring us a lot of fun.
three years ago my uncle gave me a dog, a naughty dog. i liked it very much. the dog was about one year old. i called him taotao. his two eyes are just like big lamps, both big and bright. he has long and white hair which makes him look like a white ball. his nose is like a button net to the eyes. he has a cute look. when we have meal he looks at us and barks at us. he seems to say:” why don’t you give me something to eat?”

今年“五一”黄金周，妈妈给我买一只小白兔。身体只有一个拳头大，它的耳朵很长，眼睛很红，像一对美丽的红宝石。全身长满雪白的茸毛，捧在手上很柔软，热乎乎的。尾巴圆圆的，短短的。整天活蹦乱跳，很可爱，全家人都很喜欢它。给它取一个好听的名字：“欣欣”。
买回来的第一天，我们在茶几底下放一个纸盒，然后铺上绒布，把欣欣放在纸盒里，算是给它安一个家。但是它不讲卫生，把纸盒当成“厕所”，弄得家里臭烘烘的，没办法，只好给它挪挪窝，让它“移居”到浴室里。但是这个调皮的小家伙总是到垃圾桶里翻翻，看看有没有它可以吃的东西，因为它最喜欢啃西瓜、苹果之类的水果。有时候跑到客厅里，只要发现有水果，就不管三七二十一地啃起来。就连妈妈出差带回来的冬枣也被它扯破袋子，翻一地，饱饱地美餐一顿。
时间一天天的过去，小欣欣慢慢地长大。有时它跑到爸爸妈妈的床底下“睡懒觉”，有时侯我们在看电视的时候，它也来凑热闹，跳到椅子上，竖起耳朵，立着身子，东张张，西望望，和我们一起看电视。有一次，这个调皮的小家伙居然跳到妈妈的床上，被妈妈发现，妈妈就拎着它的耳朵，把它放在浴室里，关它的“禁闭”。妈妈生气地对我说：“你要管好你的兔子，不然我就会把它吃掉的！”
这天晚上睡觉，我梦见欣欣把门刨开，然后逃走，“不要！欣欣快回来！”我被吓醒，还好这只是一场梦。我真担心欣欣会逃走。
欣欣是我的好朋友，我很爱它！我绝对不会让任何人伤害它的！
在我上小学一年级的时候，考了全班第一名，妈妈送给我一只雪白的猫咪，轻轻一模它的毛，滑滑的很舒服。我给它起名叫——小雪。
小雪有一对毛茸茸的耳朵，常常竖起来。有时也会用自己笨拙的爪子挠一下。它有一双“世界级”的眼睛，精神饱满，闪着幽幽蓝光。里面的瞳孔还会有变化呢，原来“猫眼石”就因此而得名的。还有四条粗壮的腿，走起路来非常优雅，像个淑女。
我们家的小雪非常淘气。有一次，我们吃完鱼。我正在书房读书，小雪也许闻到了香味，悄悄地走进厨房，跳上饭桌，把饭桌弄得乱七八糟。吃光了盘子里的鱼骨头，又舔干净了鱼汤，但却把盘子给打碎了。气的我火冒三丈，它吓得“喵喵”一声逃跑了。
我们家的小雪不仅淘气，还很好奇。今天，我妈妈买了一些龙虾，我拿了一只龙虾把它放在地上，小雪看了看我，好像在说：“那是何方怪物。”小雪试探着拨弄了两下，龙虾也不甘示弱，和小雪大战了一回，你来我往。趁小雪不注意的时候，龙虾用它的两只大钳子夹住了雪儿的鼻子。雪儿一下子把龙虾甩的很远，疼得“喵呜喵呜”直叫。
小猫给我带来了无限快乐，我爱小雪！
鸡蛋仔是我家的宠物猫，它有一个大大的脑袋，眼睛圆溜溜、水灵灵的，像个探照灯。它穿着灰白相间的“小花袄”，脖子上挂着一个嫩绿色的铃铛，踱着小猫步，走起路来叮叮当当响，可有“模特范儿”了。
鸡蛋仔不仅样子可爱，还是个音乐“发烧友”呢！有一次我在房间，刚拿起葫芦丝吹起《月光下的凤尾竹》，就听到一阵熟悉的铃声传来，不用猜，一定是鸡蛋仔来了。它默默地蹲坐在我身边，抬着头，睁着好奇的大眼睛，专心致志地看着我，仿佛真能听懂似的。不会吧？这一定是巧合，我拿起葫芦丝转移到客厅，想不到乐声刚奏起，就看到鸡蛋仔已经随我转移至客厅，坐得端端正正，眼睛一眨不眨地倾听着。哈哈……想不到我也有“粉丝”了。
这几天我家又增添了一个新成员——扫地机器人。每次机器人开始工作，可忙坏了鸡蛋仔。它又好奇又害怕，眼睛一刻不离开机器人，跟着它的路径滴溜溜地转。当扫地机器人“走”到它面前来，它像见了鬼似的连连往后退。而当机器人在充电的时候，鸡蛋仔又像见了仇人似的，趁着对方“手无缚鸡之力”，拼命咬暴露在外的扫地刷，还胆大包天地站到机器人的头上。谁知得意忘形，小爪子碰到了开关，机器人开始运行，这下鸡蛋仔傻眼了，被机器人背着到处跑，待它反应过来，连忙跳下去落荒而逃。
童话里有开飞机的舒克，开坦克的贝塔，咱们家也不差哟！有个会开扫地机器人的鸡蛋仔。
未来的宠物是可以跟人交流可以带人飞的，可以不吃食物也不用充电。你想要一只吗？比如说我就有一只这样的机器狗。
我和它玩的时候，我正在想，我要去湖北的.外婆家怎么去呢？机器狗说：“主人，我带你飞过去”。我说：“太好了！太好了！机器狗你太聪明了，我叫你小文好了。”
我准备去湖北了，我坐上小文起飞了，我在半路看到了会飞的汽车，会走的房子……应有尽有，突然我听到了外婆在叫我，我说：“小文，降落吧”！小文本来很快就要降落，我说：“小文，不能这样，要慢慢地降落。”小文马上就把速度变慢了。
外婆看到后惊奇地说：“你这狗不用吃食物吗？”我说：“不用。”外婆接着说：“也不用充电吗？”我回答说：“什么东西也不用给它吃，用能量就可以”。外婆一脸惊呆的表情看着我，说：“那我也要买一只”。

secondly, money is also an obstacle. but at the same time, most people keep dogs for their home security. when an intruder or a stranger walks around your house, dogs will bark loudly, making a noise to warn you and frighten the stranger. therefore, you do not need to worry that burglars may break into the house. instead, your dogs will help to protect your money and safety.
