四年级学生已经懂得要吃好吃的，玩好玩的，零花钱也用得越来越多，不够用了，就向家长要，要不到了就想到了偷，想到了骗，甚至敲诈。我们班上发现一两个有此类行为的学生，幸好被同学揭发，经过老师家长及时教育，改正了错误，没有后果发生。要是敲诈成功了，那他的胆子会越来越大，后果不堪设想，甚至走的犯罪的道路。所以家长们一定要注意孩子的行为。如果发现孩子有钱买这买，而这钱并不是你们家长给的，一定要问清来历，及时教育。有爱无教终害子，当孩子犯错时，家长千万不要纵容。
因此，请不要给孩子过多的零花钱，部分孩子不懂事，往往乱花钱，用来买零食，上网等，从小养成节约用钱的好习惯终生受用。教育孩子借给同学钱要问清原因，非正当的理由要学会维护自己的权利，可以不外借。
上网问题也很严重，有些孩子沉迷网络游戏，无心学习。我想，最好不要让孩子上网吧，如果有条件就让孩子在家里上网，限制上网时间，一般只准上一个小时，时间长了对眼睛不利。限制上网内容，只准查找与学习有关的内容。在家长的监督下上网，既有利于孩子应用信息技术，也不会误入歧途。部分家长工作忙碌，经常加夜班，孩子回到家很无聊，加上天性好玩，约束能力不强，难免沉迷网络游戏。这种情况家长久要多费心了，尽量抽出时间细心关注一下孩子的成长变化，言行举止决定孩子的发展。
总之，四年级的孩子思想从单纯走向复杂，开始有自我意向，也就是自己想做什么就做什么，个性很强，不听父母的话。但毕竟还小，辨别力弱，分不清事情的是非对错，极易走错路。面对这个年龄段的孩子，家长要经常给孩子一些指示与告诫，提醒他们什么该做，什么不该做。当然，家长们的教育要一致，避免孩子出现认识的盲区。
四年级的孩子很多事情都处于好奇阶段，似懂非懂，开始有独立性，自尊心逐渐增强。孩子们喜欢自己动手去做某件事情，但又因为能力不足，往往无法达到家长的要求。我觉得，不妨放手让孩子去试试，让孩子学会独立是现在很多独生子女家长所缺乏的意识;失败乃成功之母，让孩子体验失败后的成功，学会珍惜自己和他人的劳动成果。另外，家长在教育孩子时要注意批评的尺度，10多岁的孩子已经知道难为情，没面子。保护好孩子的自尊心教育才能效。
四年级的学习内容广泛了，要求学生掌握的知识也很多。各位家长只要留心一下孩子的作业本就会发现现在语文除了死记硬背的基础知识外，更多的是一些“活”题目，也就是没有标准答案的题目，可以一题多解。这就对学生提出了更高的要求，基础必须扎实，该背的还是要背，该抄的还是要抄。小学英语是初中学习的基础，家长们要树立正确的观念，不要以为小学只抓好语文与数学就可以了，英语学习也不能马虎。四年级的英语教材出现很多新句型，就学生三年级的基础，但靠课堂学习是不够的，家里应该多跟录音反复朗读。部分学习有困难的孩子往往会知难而退，出现惰性，家长的督促是必不可少，不然孩子越学越跟不上，就会自我放弃。

当然，班上也有部分学生听课容易分心，课堂学习效率较低，学习习惯有待改进。个别作业写不完整;有的常忘记做：还有的写字太潦草，没有恒心、耐心。也有些学生基础不好，学习起来比较困难，课后需要多下苦功。几个调皮的男生课间爱追逐打闹，安全问题需要引起注意。
最后，希望家长们配合学校工作
一、提供给孩子一个安静的学习环境，注意监督孩子按时认真地完成作业。放学后最好不要让孩子去同学家一起做作业。尤其是乘车回家的孩子，回到家也比较晚了，再去同学家既不安全，也有可能会养成作业相互抄袭，边玩边做作业的坏习惯。
二、晚上让孩子早些休息，不要沉迷于电视与电脑，保证孩子的睡眠时间。有些孩子早上学习精神状态不佳，请家长引起关注。
三、多关心孩子的学习过程。对于学习成绩不好的孩子，家长给予更多是鼓励，而不是一味的泼冷水，肯定孩子的每一次小小的进步，即使还没达到您的要求，也不要给孩子压力，孩子在一点一点的进步就是好事，认真在学的过程才是最重要的。就算孩子依旧原地踏步，没有丝毫的进步，家长也不可成天批评，相信孩子，跟孩子一起努力，想想怎样才能把学习搞好才是对策。
