i am very glad to give a speech today.the topic of my speech is the animal.i always think that animals are the friends of our human beings.they are not so complicated as our people,and they can always bring us plenty of happiness and satisfaction.

both the domestic animals and the wild animals are lovely.however,they are being treated cruelly by lots of people at present.i cant understand those people.you may not like animals,even you could hate them,but you have no rights to hurt them.
every life of the living creatures is equal.every life of them has the right to live happily.human beings mustnt hurt those innocent creatures for our personal desire.

we chicaned every detail of the innovation. thousands years before, wecreated fire when we took a stone to knock another one. since han dynasty, fourgreat inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that chinabecome to the ancient civilized country. and nowadays, thousands of software,products, architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about100 years ago. so how did these happen? what will you do if you are notsatisfied with your tools anymore? what will you do if old mode cannot afford todevelop in a company? there is no doubt that we should innovate no matter wherewe are and what we do. not because of the design itself, but actually for itsintended purpose.

the topic for my speech today is “festival.” i would like to talk about myfavorite festival, the mid-autumn festival.
in china we have several important festivals, such as the spring festival,the lantern festival, the dragon-boat festival and the mid-autumn festival.among them, i like mid-autumn festival best, especially because i live inxiamen.
in xiamen, when we celebrate the mid-autumn festival, we do not only followthe common practices such as having a big dinner party with our family, eatingmooncakes, and appreciating the full moon at night, we also have one uniquecustom which is only practiced in xiamen, that is “bo bing”.
“bo bing” is a very interesting game that almost all xiamen people playduring this festival. usually family members or close friends get togetheraround a table with a big round bowl in the middle and six dices in the bowl. wetake turns to throw the dices into the bowl. we will get different prizesaccroding to the different ways the dices show their upper sides. everyone islikely to become the champion or “zhuangyuan” for the year. there is an elementof luck and equal opportunity in this game. so people usually get excited whileplaying. also, the game gives very pleasant sounds. the tinkling made by thedices falling into the bowl is pleasant, people’s laughing, cheering andapplauding for the big prizes they’ve won is pleasant. all this adds greatly tothe joyful atmosphere of this festival. as a kid, of course i also like thematerial prizes i get from the game, such as a candy or a cake.
in this year’s mid-autumn festival, my family invited our foreign friendsto come to our home to celebrate the festival together. they have two childrenwho are younger than me. while our parents were making jiaozi together, we kidsplayed “bo bing”. we bought quite some gifts to share with our guests as theirprizes.they enjoyed the game and our get-together very much.
the literal translation of “bo bing” is “mooncake gambling.” but actuallyit is not gambling, at least our family never plays it that way. for us, it ismore an occasion of happy sharing and getting-together. this is why xiamen’smid-autumn festival has become my favorite festival in the year.

being dishonest can do harm not only to others but also to ourselves,thus,we must get aware of the importance of boycoting it.take the case of the sanlu powder for example.after drinking sanlu fake powder,lots of babies got sick and had big heads,nevertheless,their bodies still thin.people hateful too much,the sanlu corporation expectedly get punished and never have choice to make up their faults.
when it comes to the significances of being honest,i consider,we will make good relationship bewteen others,such as in the school ,in the busineand in the society.furthermore,only if we are honest to others can others become friendly to us.therefore,cultivate a virtue of honesty and we will get better.
it have been discussed for a long time that how to deal with the uncivilized behaviors during the travel, such as write on the place of historic interests, or claim to old trees. this kind of things happened in china more often than any other countries. what can we do to prevent those actions? though we have advocate education of the tourists for years, the situation was not better than be imagined. in my opinion, we still have to encourage the education of our tourists, but with some change. for example, we shouldnot only disseminate don t do sth. , but also with the reason and an explanation that it is not cool to sign names or words everywhere, in the contrary, we have to ashamed of that. make a comparison between foreigners and us can also increase our consciousness.
