itsquo;s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.
frankly speaking, i donsquo;t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why cansquo;t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.
there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese donsquo;t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as fathersquo;s day and april foolsquo;s day etc. on the other hand,the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend,chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.
with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us.

生活中的失败挫折既有不可避免的一面;又有正向和负向功能。既可使人走向成熟、取得成就，也可能破坏个人的前途，关键在于你怎样面对挫折。
适度的挫折具有一定的积极意义，它可以帮助人们驱走惰性，促使人奋进。挫折又是一种挑战和考验。英国哲学家培根说过：“超越自然的奇迹多是在对逆境的征服中出现的。”遭受挫折不可怕，可怕的是没有遭受过挫折。因为只有经过，才懂得如何去面对，才能感受到战胜挫折之后的那种愉悦。
首先，挫折帮助你成长。人的成长过程是适应社会要求的过程，如果适应得好，就觉得宽心和谐;如果不适应，就觉得别扭、失意。而适应就要学会调整自己的动机、追求和行为。一个人出生时;根本不知道什么是对，什么是错，正是通过鼓励、制止、允许、反对、奖励、处罚、引导、劝说，甚至身体上的体罚与限制才学得举止与行为的适应和得当，学会在不同环境、不同时间、不同对象、不同规范条件下调整行为。反之，从小无法无天的孩子，一旦独立生活就会被淹没在矛盾和挫折之中。
其次，挫折增强你的意志力。现在的青少年长期生活在被服务的环境中，从进小学到读大学，直到工作选择，都由父母去承受压力，因而他们对各种困难体验都不深，缺乏忍耐力，没有坚强的意志，一且遇到挫折就被击垮了。实际上生活中许多轻度挫折，是意志力的“运动场”，当你大汗淋漓地跑完全程，克服了生活的挫折，就会获得愉快的体验。心理学家把轻度的挫折比作“精神补品”，因为每战胜一次挫折，都强化了自身的力量，为下一次应付挫折提供了“精神力量”。
面对苦难和挫折，你要抬起头来，笑对它，相信“这一切都会过去，今后会好起来的”。希望是不幸者的第二灵魂。向往美好的未来，是困难时的自我安慰。在多难而漫长的人生路上，我们需要一颗健康的心，需要绚烂的笑容。苦难是一所没人愿意上的大学，但从那里毕业的，都是强者。
当我面对挫折的时候，我知道如何将眼中的色板调暖。生活是多姿多彩的，它是一本书，封面和封底是别人设计的，而里面的内容要靠自己、用心血与勤劳的汗水去书写。挫折也只是书中短小篇幅中的一页，更多的是胜利的汗水与微笑。
当我面对挫折的时候，我对自己说：“永不放弃”。太阳正是因为永不放弃，才最终冲破地平线光耀万里;小草正是因为永不放弃，才不计星星点点，最终绿满大地。
当我面对挫折的时候，我不会哭泣。生活如此美好，为什么要让泪水成为它的战俘呢?21岁的花季不相信眼泪，与其让它随挫折而落下，不如化作将来那胜利微笑中闪光的泪花。
当我面对挫折的时候，我会用一颗快乐的心平静地面对。快乐是我最宝贵的财富，它教会我如何去面对每一次挫折所给我带来的痛苦，“痛苦并快乐着”恰如其分的概括了我们的生活，有谁不是在痛苦中寻找快乐呢!有谁不是一边受伤，一边学着坚强呢!懂得了这一点，挫折中的痛苦才显得更有意义，我们才会更好地珍惜生活中的快乐。
当我面对挫折的时候，只有一句话在鼓励着我，“宝剑锋自磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。”我想说“我爱挫折，我喜欢与挫折面对面。”
挫折告诉我太多太多……总之，挫折只不过是人生漫长旅途中的一块小小的拌脚石，摔倒后只要能坚强地爬起来，前途就将会是一片光明!
挫折像风，它也许会吹迷你的双眼，让你看不清航向，远离了明天拥抱太阳的航线;它也许会鼓起你的风帆，使你乘风破浪，驶向成功的彼岸。
挫折像雨，它也许会打湿你艰难跋涉时背负的行囊，使你脚下的路泥泞不堪，让你举步维艰，再也无意前行;也许落在面颊上冰冷的雨点会使你清醒，让你思考究竟如何勇往直前。
人生是一次远征，征途曲折坎坷。当你绝境失望的深渊时，别放弃，因为抬起头来，是一片最美的星空!

这一片又一片的足迹是一批又一批的财院儿女心血的见证,是财院人心中的绿洲,是歌词中唱到的"付出总有回报"在大学校园里的真实现影。作为03级的财院人,我们理当为他们的付出唱一曲赞歌,但更重要的是用我们的行动为这一重大使命画上一个完美的句号。
我一个人的力量显然是微不足道的,但千万个像我一样的财院人携起手来,还有什么困难是不能战胜的呢?

我相信,这样的设想是现实的,可行的,可取的。大家一定知道营销大师里斯·特劳斯吧,他在其划时代著作《定位》里写道"……获得成功的唯一希望是要有选择性,缩小目标,分门别类,简言之,就是'定位'"。"迎评促建"是国家教育部给我校的定位,是对我校目前乃至将来办学水平的肯定,本质上却是对我们当代大学生的重视与关怀,是提高我们各方面素质的助推器,积极配合,勇于上进才是我们最好的回复。一个人今天学到的,将来在工作,生活中用得上多少呢 一个人是否优秀,是不能光看他的文化知识的掌握程度的,而要看其综合组织的高低,将来走上工作岗位,不可能你会说英语,会做数学题就很优秀,更重要的是工作能力。而工作能力是要现在经过锻炼才会得到提高的。难道我们还要再让别人说我们是高分低能的人吗 难道我们还要让企业说我们是眼高手低的人吗 不!我们要因此而清醒!从现在做起,从自身做起!我校的学风还存在这很大的不足,我们一定要重视,要改进它!要针对自己的不足,对症下药,努力提高自己,完善自己。
放眼大千世界,生活中的各个领域都需要一种"定位"的意识,要使我们的明天更美好,务必使全院师生一条心,领导基层一条心,大家为了同一个目标,各就各位,各司其职,以付出为圆心,以行动为半径,画一个充实的圆,献给财院的明天。
the romantic love story——the film describes a love story between a harlot and a rich man. it is a fairy story about cinderella of modern version. being the he-ro-in-e in a fairy tale seems to be the dream of every girl since very young. all girls are looking forward to romantic love stories descending on them. the more impossible the love is going to happen, the happier the girl to be, which is definitely decided by the nature of girls. the most impressed things came to me in the film were the herosquo;s (richard gere) character. he was charming, a real confident man, so perfect, so charming, however, that didnsquo;t make you think he was conceited or he was pretend to be attractive. as a matter of fact, he is an indeed gentleman, with a natural gentle manner. his charm actually comes from his inner refinement. his personality is a great magnet to me.in the meanwhile, the difference between a rude woman and elegant women are obviously high lightened in this film, which i has paid attention to for a long time.

finding me time is important
hello, my dear friends, it is my great honor to be here and give a speech. today i want to talk about the importance of finding *me time*.
may i begin my speech by asking you a question? do you often feel tired, stressed or worried? if you do have these problems, you are lack of me-time to relax yourself. psychologist tell us that stress is caused by too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life . in my point of view, if you want to have a healthy mind and body, having your own me-time is very important.
let me take myself as an example. i was a carefree and outgoing girl before i entered the junior high school. i had much me-time and did anything i like after class. i kept a lovely pet and whenever i have time i played with her happily. however, the situation is quite different now. when i want to turn on the tv、surf on the internet or go out shopping with my friends, my parents always look at me seriously and say donsquo;t forget to spend more time on your lessons. if you donsquo;t cherish every minute of your time, other students will catch up with you.
so, every day, every moment, i am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments. i become more and more silent and cansquo;t sleep well before the exams because isquo;m dressed and worried about my results. i feel so tired and how i want to have me time to relax myself. i long for a period of time that i could walk in a small path in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence of nature.
my dear friends, having your own me-time is important. i firmly believe that achievements depend on our health. if we want to have a more harmonious state to work better, we should find more *me time* and keep off the overwhelm stresses. talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful for you. trust me, yousquo;ll be more refreshable and energetic.
