上午好!我是初二级的一名英语老师。
很高兴见到大家.对于我们的家长和学生而言，的确是新老师;今天，我想利用这个机会，把我过去的一些经验结合这两个月对初二学生英语学习情况的了解来与各位家长分享和探讨。
从学生的家庭作业来看，我们的家长都非常重视孩子们的英语学习。大家都意识到英语学习不论是对我们的日常生活还是升学来说，都产生着重要的作用，有着重大的意义。而我们初中阶段的教学目的在于培养学生的学习兴趣、良好的语言习惯、运用英语进行交际的能力以及跨文化意识。因此，我的课堂也是围绕听、说、读、写几个方面对所学知识进行操练和运用。通过这两个月的教学，我发现这一届初二的班主任都特别负责，班风、学风也很好，最重要的是绝大多数的同学自尊心强，上进心强，这使我对他们充满信心。但同样也发现了以下问题：
1、学习态度不够端正。部分学生对于学英语是抱着无所谓的态度，甚至会说只要语文数学好就行了，还有拖欠作业的情况。
2、学习习惯不够好。我要求学生在学英语的时候要大声的读单词和句子，有利于对单词的记忆，并且能更好的集中注意力。但是有很多人没有这种习惯，声音很小，眼睛盯着天花板，盯着窗户读的都有，甚至还有的同学边发呆边跟着读，这样就没有效果。还存在着严重的畏难情绪，我给的问题或是阅读材料还刚出来就有人抱怨我不会做、这么难、看不懂，我会反问他们你还没看题怎么知道不会做?遇到困难首先想到的不是解决问题而是逃避，那么你永远不会进步。这几天这种情况已经减少了很多。
3、少数同学基础不好。到现在26个字母还读不全、默不全。这也是颇让人头疼的问题。
4、阅读能力欠佳。阅读在今后的升学考试，包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占有很大的分值。但我们的学生对于阅读暂时还没有概念。我要求他们把阅读材料读三遍，第一遍泛读，也就是浏览;第二遍精读，把生词划出来，根据上下文理解单词的意思;第三遍回答问题，但是很少有同学能够严格按照要求完成，往往是读了一遍就不想读了。
针对以上问题，我也研究了一些方法和策略，需要各位家长的配合和支持。
1、督促学生在家听英语磁带，每周不少于1小时，最好能每天坚持听10——15分钟，这将对孩子的学习有很大帮助。
2. 督促学生在家背英语单词、短语及课文，因为在校学生的背书时间太少，所以家长要配合老师在家里听写孩子的单词和短语。
3、争取消化当天所学的单词，不要积压任务。我会在每单元结束的时候组织一次听写，并要求学生带回家给家长过目。
4、请家长督促孩子在家里完成家庭作业，以免他们来学校在匆忙之中互相抄袭。有时的默写作业我也会烦请各位家长签字，这也是为了给学生一点点压力，让他们知道父母会经常检查他们的作业本，一定要认真写才行。家长可以让学生自己默写或者报中文意思都可以，但最重要的是在学生默完后，督促他们对着书本更正。我发现，初二的很多家长都非常负责，他们已经在这么做了，而且做得很好!
4、每一个单元都有阅读的部分，并且附有课后习题。如果你的孩子英语基础不是很好，可以督促他们先在家查字典，做适当的预习。
总之，我和各位家长有着共同的心愿，都想尽自己最大的努力去培养这些孩子，他们个个都聪明、可爱，只是有些孩子的潜能还没有得到充分的发掘。今后，我也希望和各位家长保持联系，如果孩子遇到学习问题我们及时沟通。我的电话号码是：。

i could remember english has been my favorite since my junior high school. at that time i had a dream that one day my job must be something that connects with english.after graduating from university, i started my job in teaching english. then i realized the true of being an english teacher. in addition, if knowledge is a bridge to success, then an english teacher must be a bridge for students to learn a foreign language, a bridge to aid studentssquo; communication with foreigners, a bridge to share our chinese culture with others.
to me, my students are just like the wild flowers. can we see a world or heaven in them? the answer is definitely yes. if you want to enjoy yourself while teaching, respect and love your students as their friends; work hard with full responsibility.
how do i enjoy myself with my students? i donsquo;t think i can express how i love my students in a few words. i just know, they are the future of china; they are infinity in my hand. what could i do with them? to wait, to be patient, to expect and to love. from them, every teacher must see their future, teaching and guiding them responsibly.
over three years passed by, the first day of new semester was coming finally. as a new teacher of the school, i had something in common with my students, who were new faces. sitting in the classroom, since both of us were nervous, i showed a smile to them. at last, they relaxed themselves, smile was passed on to next. then all of them were smiling. at that time, i began to introduce myself to them. so interested in me, they all listened to me with full heart. of course i had chance to know something about them. one of them even was so excited with red face when she knew she and i had the same birthday. when i made a joke on her about her red apple face, the classroom burst out of laugh. no matter how different they are, in my eyes, everyone of them is like a waiting flower----waiting for growth. from then on, i had been in good relationship with my students. how lovely and nice they are!
and then, as teachers, not only do we need to be friendly to them, but also all the time we have to be ready for helping them. once two girls in my class went out for wandering from home without telling anyone else including their patents. in fact, they just wanted to escape from the family, which was full of quarreling. itsquo;s not hard to imagine how worried their parents were! but they had no way to communicate with them, nor find them. as class teacher, there was no time. i decided quickly to help the holpless parents. and i tried to contact with their classmates to make sure what they had talked about the going before. then i spent the whole night in looking for them with their parents in the city. after a long time searching, we found the girls in wangsheng. when they saw me, their class teacher, they cried loudly and sadly. everything was ok after they told me their complaints to parents. at that time, i knew, 1
sometimes, the teacher was the very bridge between parents and their children. how important, how great to be a teacher is!
thirdly, to be a teacher we need to know what responsibility is. as everyone knows, the chinese boy, hong zhanhui is one of the man who moves china. he began to rear his little sister since he was 13, the age at which we enjoy mothersquo;arms. without parents, he has to earn enough money for their life while he is studying at the same time. everyday, carrying his sister on his back, he went to school through miles path. when somebody asked him why he should kept doing this. he replied briefly: this is my responsibility! from his story, we know that responsibility is not an easy thing. is only what hong zhanhui done can be called responsibility? of course no. everyone has his responsibility and responsibility exists everywhere in everyonesquo;s daily life especially we teacherssquo;.
so, what is responsibility? from my point of view, responsibility is accepting what you are facing -- and not complaining your students. responsibility is holding your students' hands and reminding them to watch both ways before crossing their road. when there is something difficult in front of students, responsibility is helping them over them. when your students are in a trouble, responsibility is being there on time to help and guide them -- even if that means you will miss your favorite things.
just imagine the world without responsibility. your students are the waiting flowers. tomorrow, whatever they will be, it all depends on their hard working and the teacherssquo; love. wonderful world, isnsquo;t it? responsibility is not a burden if you are willing to shoulder it. the teacher who loves his/her students will not only succeed but also get a happy life and enjoy themselves.

昨天就是我国的传统节日端午节了，关于端午节的由来相信大家都很清楚，它是纪念我国著名的诗人、爱国主义者屈原的节日。
屈原是距今两千多年前战国时期的楚国人。他所在的时代是一个战乱频繁、弱肉强食的时代。当时在列强环视的状况下，却不能及时的发现自己的错误，依旧墨守陈规，没有改革的锐志，在国力方面远远地被倡导地主阶级政治改革的国家抛在了后面。面对连年的战争失败，割地求和，统治阶级采取的办法是偏安一隅，置国家存亡不顾，依旧过着醉生梦死的生活。
屈原就生活在这样的时代环境里，他对当前的形势有着清醒的认识，于是在国内倡导推行了一系列的政治改革。由此得罪了旧贵族遭到了诋毁攻击。面对压力，屈原秉持宁折不弯，宁为玉碎，不为瓦全的思想，在与保守势力的斗争中显示了自己的高尚节操，赤诚的爱国之心。
这一片冰心，穿透了两千年的时空，依然光耀在中华大地。
两千年之后的今天，我们谈论屈原的爱国主义，倡导的是什么呢?我们倡导的是屈原热爱自由，和平的精神，是面对危机以天下为己任的高度的责任感，是面对强权宁折不弯的精神，要体会到屈原对于国家人民的深厚感情，体会到屈原对于这片土地，也就是我们脚下这片广袤大地的深厚感情。
和屈原不同，我们身处的时代是盛世的中国。国家富强、民众和谐。在这一个富足自信的新时代，我们更应该学会爱国，学会珍惜我们看似应得的宽敞明亮的教室，学会珍惜我们的学习的机会、甚至我们的衣食。这都是我们的父辈甚至我们的祖辈怀持爱国的理念，对幸福和平生活的向往，扫净了自鸦片战争之后弥漫在中国人民头上的阴霾，抛头颅洒热血为我们拼搏来的。
最后用一句屈原的话送给所有的同学“路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索”，希望我们珍惜今天的生活，彼此勉励，为中华之崛起而读书，做一个奋发图强，能为祖国建设贡献心智的人，能为自己的将来铺垫繁花似锦的人，能回报呵护自己的父母师长，无愧于炎黄子孙的人。

chinahas a very long and brilliant history whose people are so friendly and hospitable. but i am wondering why some people pay such little attention to the environment and nature. in many places of the countryside rivers have become stinking sewers and brooks have disappeared. heaps of garbage obstructs the scarce flow of dirty water. the grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. people are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. in some towns rubbish is hidden behind walls. garbage cans are often of little use making cleaners must rush all day long and also by night to clean the rubbish.
this lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to childrensquo;s education tochinasquo;s image to public health to tourism and to the future.chinais the common treasure of all chinese and we should live up to be a member of this big family a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country. i think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. this protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation.
