今天我推荐我最喜欢的一本书，余华的长篇小说《活着》。小说的主人公福贵是位江南富农子弟。他少年放荡不羁，输尽家业，壮年贫苦多灾，尝尽生离死别，晚年孤苦，只剩下一头老牛和一块葬满至亲的坟地，时间汹涌，生活几乎夺去了他的所有，但他从不抱怨命运带给他的一切，他开朗、乐观，又是那么自由、闲适。
有人说，时间与挫折，最是催人成长，福贵坎坷的一生让他懂得珍惜，而年老后的在把时间更是让他彻底领悟：“人是为了活着本身而活着，而不是为了活着外的任何事情所活着。”这样的大彻大悟，才成就了那个能轻松讲出自己多难的一生的老头吧。
也许有同学曾抱怨——为何生活这样的辛苦?没有时间休息，没有时间玩乐，甚至有时在午夜也仍伏案疾笔，可这些与福贵所遭受的比起来，又能算了什么呢?享受生命，享受活着，更是要享受苦痛啊。
活着，在我们中国的语言中充满力量，它的力量不是来自于叫喊，也不是来自于进攻，而是忍受，去忍受生命赋予我们的责任，去忍受现实给予我们的幸福和苦难，无聊和平庸。
其实每一个人不都是一个福贵吗?求福满仓，贵满房，却也在求的路上承受着自己该承受的一切。即使路上满地荆棘，尖锐的刺扎得你满脚鲜血，也要坚定的向前走。而到最后你终会明白，无论现实中我们经历的是措手不及的幸福喜悦抑或是无可告人的艰辛苦难，只要继续活着，它们中大多数的细节和感受都会被我们一一遗忘，或是变为我们谈笑间的故事。告诉我，谁还会在不堪着中考的煎熬或是一时的失败，又或是只是伤疤最初时的鲜血淋漓?既是如此，那还有什么可抱怨的呢?确定的是，我们仍在继续向前走。

我相信在座的每个人都有属于自己的梦想，可能是教师、警察、作家或篮球运动员，也许不是职业，而是一种生活态度。不过无论其实质内容是什么，关键在于要去实现梦想的决心和敢于去实现梦想的勇气。
其实实现梦想的能力人人都有，与所谓的天资或者智商无关。无论在座的各位现在成绩如何，又有谁未曾偷偷想过：“我辈岂是蓬蒿人!”这种充满豪情壮志的话?没有人愿意一辈子默默无闻地活着，而现在最能证明自己的方式，就是去拼搏。我们每个人都是世上独一无二的，所以我私下里一直觉得，我们生来都是注定要攀他人不可及的山峰，走别人没走过也不敢走的道路，然后享受别人一辈子也看不到的绮丽风景，让那些懦弱的旁观者只能仰视我们的背影。
就像那个同样狂妄的陈欧所说的——我们会证明这是属于谁的时代。
没有人愿意一辈子呆在笼子里，问题是，给你一片广阔的天空，你是不是真的敢要敢追求。只要你敢拼搏，梦就在那里，下了决心，就不能有丝毫退缩。就如同登山，不登则已，只要迈开一步就只能坚持到最后，中途没有可以歇脚的地方。
